1940 NTA U.S. Christmas Slogan Seals Block, perf. 12 1/2 x 12, full gum, F, MNH. Designed by Felix Martini. Issued 1940 by the National Tuberculosis Association (NTA). These Slogan Seals are from a Christmas Seals sheet with a printer's mark of "E". Fresh, never folded, shipped flat.
There are three Slogan Seals which show one of three children on each seal. The slogan is the same on each, "Protect Us from Tuberculosis". but the design differs: Seal #23:girl; Seal #32: black haired boy with green jacket; Seal #34: red haired youngster with blue jacket.
The Slogan Seals are usually collected in a block of 6 with three normal seals. This item is a block of 12.
