Issued 1939 by the National Tuberculosis Association (NTA). Designed by Rockwell Kent. Image of Angel with halo. Slogan seals designed by Earl Hoffman. Sheet of 100 (10x10), red, ultramarine, pink, and light blue. Seal size: 171/2x23mm. Per. 121/2. The four center seals are slogan seals.

Slogan Seals: a double-barred cross in the upper left corner, "1939" in the upper right corner, and slogans as follows: Seal #45: "Health to All"; Seal #46: "Protect Your Home From Tuberculosis"; Seal #55: "Tuberculosis Preventable Curable"; Seal #56: "Holiday Greetings".

1939 Christmas Seals were printed by four printers, Eureka "E" (WX96), Strobridge "S" (WX97), Edwards and Deutch "D" (WX97), and U.S. Printing "U" (WX97). The letter "S" appears on seal #57. There is a frame break on seal #29.

Christmas Seals are also known as TB Charity Seals, and are usually classified as Charity Seals, or Cinderella stamps.
