Boys Town 23.1.x, 1951 Boys Town Special Spring Seals. Pictorial sheet of 25 diff. designs, each with "Boys Town Nebraska" and title of the picture. All are multicolored and dated 1951. Seal size: 49x37; perf. 121/2; sheet of 25, 5x5; SE4s. The sheet has been reinforced by a previous dealer so as to protect the sheet.

These seals known as "Boys Town Special Spring Seals" were released the following years: 1951, 1952-59, 1960, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1967, and 1976. The only dated sheet in this series is the 1951.

Boys Town Special Spring Seals are usually Classified as Charity Seals, or Cinderella stamps.
