Boys Town 22.6Ax, 1953 Boys Town Christmas Charity Seals Sheet, Type 1, full gum, F, MNH. The sixth Boys Town Charity Seal was issued at Christmas in 1953. Two types were issued, with that date. This is the Type 1 - top of "3" of date is round. This sheet is fresh, and bright, with sound colors.
The seal design was similar to the 1952 seals, but dated 1953. Boy with a smaller boy on his back. "He Ain't Heavy Father He's M" Brother." Boys Town, Nebraska, at side and bottom of seal. Multi-colored, seal size: 18x24, perf: 121/2. Sheet of 100 (10x10) seals, SE3S, PM@B, Fleming-Potter Union Label under seal #100.
