Seals designed by Clinton Bradley. Four seal designs of Santa and Child in ornaments alternate in the sheet, creating se-tenant blocks of four: (1) head of Santa on ornament, "Christmas"; (2) head of child on ornament, "Greetings"; (3) head of Santa on ornament, "Greetings"; and (4) head of child on ornament, "Christmas." Sheet of 100 (10x10), yellow, red, light and dark green. Seal size: 25x161/2mm, perf 121/2. Printer's mark: "S" in the sparkle on the ornament to the left of Santa's head on seal #56. Union label on margin over seal #10. Perforated margin at top inscribed "No One Is Safe From Tuberculosis Until All Are Safe."
NOTE: Sheets of 1957 Christmas Seals were printed by 8 printers. They can be identified by a tiny green "E, S, D, U, F, W, B, or R" on seal #56.
