Boys Town 22.9Ax, 1956 Boys Town Charity Seals, Type 1, Sheet/100, F, MNH. The ninth Boys Town Charity Seal was issued in 1956. Two types were issued, with that date. This is Type 1 - tails of "9" and "5" in date are rounded. This sheet is fresh, and bright, with sound colors.

The seal design was similar to the 1955 seals, but dated "1917-1956." Boy with a smaller boy on his back. "He Ain't Heavy Father He's M" Brother." Boys Town, Nebraska, at bottom of seal. Multi-colored, seal size: 25x19, perf: 121/2. Sheet of 100 (10x10) seals, SE3S, PM@R, Fleming-Potter Union Label to right of seal #10.
