Rudolph Valentino Cigar Bands. Group of 6 Rudolph Valentino Cigar Bands. Embossed and gilded cigar band labels say "Rudolph Valentino Quality Cigar". From the mid 1920's when Rudolph Valentino was considered the ultimate screen lover. He was idolized by the female fans of the 1920's like Elvis was in the 1950's. He died an untimely death in 1926 at only 31 years of age (from a perforated ulcer), which probably explains why these cigar band labels were never used. These have become very difficult to find.
