Foreign TB Charity Seals were first issued in Denmark by the Danish National Society against Tuberculosis in 1904. Charitable Societies in Sweden (1904) and Iceland (1904) also issued their own TB Charity Seals. Charitable Societies in Canada followed with local TB Seals in 1908, and the Canadian Tuberculosis Association issued a national TB Charity Seal in 1927. Since many TB Charity Seals were issued at, or before Christmas, to solicit donations, they are also known as Christmas Seals. All Foreign Christmas TB Charity Seals are identified by their Green's Part 3 Catalog numbers. Global TB Societies Foreign TB Charity Seal Album Pages |
