Designed by Raymond H. Lufkin. Sledge with oxen. Sheet of 100 (10x10), red, green, brown, and blue. Seal size: 22x17mm. Perf. 121/2. Printer's Mark: brown "U" in the lower left corner of the white background above the letter "M" of "MERRY" on seal #56.

1947 Christmas Seals were printed by four printers. The letter "E" "D" "S" or "U" appears on seal #56.
