1935 U.S. Christmas Slogan Seals, 4 blocks of 4, perf. 12 1/2, F, MNH. Issued 1935 by the National Tuberculosis Association. These Slogan Seals are from a Christmas Seals sheet with a printer's mark of either "S", "U", or "C". Fresh, full gum, shipped flat.
The four corner seals on the 1935 sheet are slogan seals. They have the double barred cross in red surrounded by a blue and green scalloped design on a brown background, with slogans at the bottom in blue, and wording as follows: Seal #1 - "Help Fight Tuberculosis"" Seal #10 - "Protect Your Home From Tuberculosis" Seal #91 - "Tuberculosis is Preventable" Seal #100 - "Tuberculosis is Curable"
The 1935 Slogan Seals are usually collected in blocks of one Slogan Seal with three normal seals.
