1907 U.S. Christmas Seal

The 1907 U.S. Christmas Seal is the first Christmas Seal issued in the United States. The seals were issued and sold by the Delaware Chapter of the American Red Cross. The 1907 U.S. Chrsitmas Seal is usually collected as a single seal. 

There were two types of the seal issued: 

Type 1 - "Merry Christmas" and Type 2 - "Merry Christmas/Happy New Year." 

The 1907 U.S. Christmas Seal was designed by Miss Emily P. Bissell.
